NIMHANS has had the title of “Institute of National Importance” since 2012. NIMHANS is not required to have an RCI License to provide the M. Phil Clinical Psychology course. It is one of the institutions that provides training and various job opportunities to its students and others.

Educational Qualification:
a) I Class/ II Class M A/M. Sc degree in Psychology from a recognized University / Institution.
AND
b) M. Phil in Mental Health and Social Psychology/M.Phil in Clinical Psychology/ or equivalent qualification from an institution/university recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Experience:
Desirable: Conversant with modern techniques on psycho-diagnostic and psychological methods of treatment/research experience. Maximum age limit: 50 Years
Age Limit: 35 Years
Pay Matrix: ₹35,400 -1,12, 400/- (Level 6)
Initial Pay in the Pay Matrix: ₹ 35,400/-
Duration: Duration of the Job is subject to performance depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties.
