M.Phil. Clinical Psychology is a hospital-based program. The duration of this program is 2 years or 4 semesters. This is one of the most preferred programs among Psychology aspirants as the course allows you to be a Clinical Psychologist. Students, who have completed their MA /MSc in Psychology, /Clinical Psychology/Applied Psychology, or any other specialization can pursue this course.

CIP Ranchi

CIP Ranchi is a famous place in India that supports people dealing with mental health problems. It’s a top-notch center for mental health treatment located in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Many people are interested in the MPhil Clinical Psychology program offered by this institute. This program began in either 1962 or 1985, and CIP Ranchi is connected with Ranchi University.

RINPAS

RINPAS is a medical institute situated in Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand, India. It’s known as the second most popular institution in Jharkhand, right after the Central Institute of Psychiatry.

A total of 100 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) are there in M.Phil. Clinical Psychology entrance at RINPAS. 2 marks are awarded for correct answer each. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for wrong question each.

KGMU, Lucknow

KGMU is a hospital, medical school, and university in Lucknow, India. It was established by King George V, Prince of Wales, in 1906, and it started admitting students in 1911. In 2002, the Government of Uttar Pradesh elevated the institute to the status of a medical university.

Candidates who have accomplished their MA /MSc in Psychology from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in aggregate can apply here. 50% marks are necessary if the candidate belongs to another category (other than General).

LGBRIMH, Tezpur

LGBRIMH Tezpur, Assam, is the oldest and most well-known mental health hospital and institute in the North Eastern Region of India. It has different departments in medical and behavioral sciences dedicated to improving mental health, such as Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry Social work, and Psychiatric Nursing Departments.

The entrance exam at LGBRIMH contains a total of 100 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 Hours) at LGBRIMH. Each question carries 1 mark. There is a negative marking of ¼ (0.25) marks for wrong answer each.

Gwalior Mansik Arogyashala (GMA)

Gwalior Mansik Arogyashala, first set up in 1935 as a 30-bed mental asylum, is now an independent institution overseen by the Madhya Pradesh government. In 1994, its name was changed from Mental Hospital to Gwalior Mansik Arogyashala.

Candidates, who have completed their Master’s in Psychology /Applied Psychology from a recognized university with not less than 55% marks can apply here. 50% marks are necessary in the case of the SC /ST category.
