Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce Pune has opened its applications for admissions to the MA Psychology course for the academic session of 2024-25.

MA Psychology Symbiosis College 2024
The program will span two years, with specialization commencing at the M.A. Part-II level. It will consist of four semesters in total, with each year divided into two semesters.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the MA in Psychology program at SCAC must have obtained their BA/BSc degree in Psychology from a university accredited by the UGC.
Alternatively, individuals currently in their final year of undergraduate studies may also apply, contingent upon completing their qualifying examination.
Admission Process and Intake
Selection for the MA Psychology course will be based on interview marks. However, passing the qualifying degree examination is compulsory for confirmation of admission.
There are 40 seats for the MA Psychology course at SCAC.

- 12th Marksheet (original and self-attested photocopy)
- Statement of Degree Marks (original and self-attested photocopy)
- Statement of Marks (Semester original and self-attested photocopy)
- Leaving / Transfer Certificate (original and self-attested photocopy)
- Migration Certificate (original and self-attested photocopy) –for students from other than SPPU.
- Passing Certificate (original and self-attested photocopy)
- Caste Certificate (original and self-attested photocopy) – for students from Maharashtra State only.
- Domicile Certificate – (photocopy) for students from Maharashtra State only.
- Gap affidavit (Original and self-attested photocopy) – if applicable
- Original and self-attested photocopy of the documents related to special quota (Defense /Ex-servicemen/Sports etc. If applicable).
- Eligibility certificate for economically weaker section (EWS) Students issued by the Government of Maharashtra
The students are required to submit the following documents to the PG Section on the first floor of the college after payment of fees
- Admission form (Back to Back on A-4 Size paper).

- Printout of fee receipt (Two copies)

Important instruction
- Your passport-size photograph and signature in .jpg, .jpeg or .gif format (the file size should not be more than 100 kb).
- Those students whose 6th-semester results are not out can also apply for an MA in Psychology with their 5th-semester results.
- Students who have not paid the Pre-Merit application charges till the last week of June 2024(tentative) will not be considered for the Merit List.
- If the student has not entered the percentage, she/he will not be considered for the merit list.
- All admissions to M.A. Psychology are purely on the interview merit basis in concurrence with the Government of Maharashtra reservation rules.
