SGT University, Gurugram has invited Online applications from eligible candidates for admission to a Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP) and M.Phil in Clinical Psychology for the academic session 2024-25.
The faculty of Behavioural Sciences of the University is offering the SGT PDCP | MPhil Clinical Psychology course and the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) also recognizes these courses.

Course duration: 1 year full-time.
Eligibility: An MA/MSc in Psychology from a UGC-recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 55%.

Steps for Online Application Process:
- Visit the SGT University registration page.
- Select your desired Programme/Specialization, generate your brochure number, and proceed to the application form.
- After successful registration, a confirmation message will be sent through SMS/E-mail.
- Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted online via Zoom call.
- If eligible, proceed for online provisional admission.
Steps for Offline Application Process:
Enquire manually at the Admission cell, SGT University.
- The inquiry will then be assigned to the respective counselor through KIOSK lead assignment.
- Information regarding courses, eligibility criteria, fees, etc., will be provided.
- Document verification will be done by the counselors.
- Appear for a Personal Interview (PI) at SGT University.
- If selected, provisional admission will be offered.
Entrance exam pattern: SGT University
Admission to the MPhil Clinical Psychology and Professional Diploma courses at SGT University will be based on merit. The scores obtained in the Entrance Exam and performance in the Interview session will determine the merit.
M.Phil. Clinical Psychology:
- No. of questions: 70 (50% Subject Oriented + 50% Research Methodology)
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice (4 choices)
- Maximum marks: 70
- Evaluation of Answer Book: Each correct answer will carry 01 marks
- The syllabus of the Qualifying Examination will be as prescribed by SGT University as per the guidelines of the UGC
Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology:
- Written test (Objective): 60 marks (Multiple Choice)
- Written test (Descriptive): 20 marks
- Practical: 25 marks
- Group Discussion: 20 Marks
- Personal Interview: 25 marks
- The syllabus of the Qualifying Examination will be as prescribed by SGT University as per the guidelines of RCI.
