The Admit cards are now available for the Entrance Examination of PhD Clinical Psychology and M.Phil Clinical Psychology for RINPAS, Ranchi. Also, The notification is available on Ranchi University Website. As per the recent notification states, the examination will happen on 12th March 2023. Further details regarding the Admit Cards and Entrance Exams are as follows.
The Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry and Allied Sciences is a premier mental health institute located in Ranchi. RINPAS has been providing specialized mental health services to patients from all over India for almost a century. In addition to providing clinical services, RINPAS is also involve in research and academic activities related to mental health.
The institute offers training programs for mental health professionals such as psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, psychiatric social workers, and psychiatric nurses. Furthermore, RINPAS is registered by RCI to provide M.Phil Clinical Psychology course. Hence, after completing the course from RINAPS, the students will get the RCI License.
PhD in Clinical Psychology
PhD in Clinical Psychology is a 2 Year course at RINPAS and RINPAS has 4 seats available for the same. The students who have completed a 2-year Diploma/M.Phil. in Medical and Social Psychology or Clinical Psychology can apply for the same through the application procedure mentioned below.

M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology
M.Phil Clinical Psychology at RINPAS is also a 2-year regular program for which RINPAS has 12 available seats. The Students who have completed an M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology at a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate (as per RCI guidelines) are eligible to apply for the same. Also, RINPAS provides a monthly stipend of ₹ 8,000 to their students of M.Phil Clinical Psychology.

Entrance Test Pattern for RINPAS:
The question paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice type questions based on the prescribed syllabus at the PG level of the University at the National level. 2 (two) marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 (one) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Moreover, The Examination Venue will be Multipurpose Examination Hall, Ranchi University, Ranchi Morhabadi Campus, Ranchi – 834008. The date of the examination will be 12th March 2023. The time of the examination will be 10.00 AM To 12.00 PM.
