The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an autonomous organization that was established by the Government of India in the year 1961. The major of the foundation is to assist the Central and State Governments on the Policies and Programmes to improve School Education. It is to undertake, coordinate and promote research in areas of School Education and to Prepare and publish textbooks, newsletters, journals, and educational Materials furthermore for the schools.
