NIMHANS

NIMHANS Bangalore is a top choice for many students aspiring to work in mental health in India. The Clinical Psychology Department provides different programs like MPhil Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

Eligibility: candidates should have completed their M.Phil. Clinical Psychology OR Master’s in Psychology /Applied Psychology /Clinical Psychology /Counseling Psychology /Psychological Counseling.

Age Limit

For the PhD program, if you’re applying through the External Fellowship category, the maximum age is 40 years. If you’re sponsored by an organization or you’re already employed at NIMHANS, the age limit is 42 years. People with disabilities (PwD) get an extra 5 years.

Amity University

Amity University is a private university. The university has various campuses at different places offering many undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral programs including Psychology.

Eligibility: Master’s Degree in Psychology from any accredited Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade point average.
