The Applications for CUET PG are available till 20th April 2023. The candidates who wish to apply for any Post graduation course must apply before the last date. Since the applications were out, students are very confused about whether they can apply to a certain college or not. Also, the students are very concerned about the eligibility criteria of the particular institution. Furthermore, students from non-psychology backgrounds are now very confused. The main reason for this confusion is “They can apply for CUET PG or not?”.
Common University Entrance Test-PG
CUET PG is CBT based Entrance test that a student can take to apply for the many included colleges at the same time. Currently, CUET PG includes 45 colleges for Psychology students. The eligibility criteria for each college are different. Click here to know all about CUET PG
Firstly, we should clarify that the University of Delhi is now not available for non-Psychology background candidates. The University of Delhi now requires one to have at least 2 papers in Psychology to apply for the same. More importantly, the students should not be worried about CUET PG as there are many other colleges where non-psychology background candidates can apply. Eligibility: Applicants need to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university (Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/PwBD/ D-OBC (NCL)/Defence/KM).

Course: M.A./M. Sc Psychology
Eligibility: Candidates having a graduate degree in Science, Engineering & Technology, and Medical Sciences without having studied Psychology at the Graduate level are also eligible.

Course: M.A Applied Psychology
Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline with a minimum score of 50% or equivalent from any recognized university. A relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent CGPA will be given to the candidates of the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PH).

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks {45% in case of SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD} from a recognized Indian or foreign University.
