Applications are available at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) for the admissions of MA in Applied Psychology. The admissions are for the session 2024-25. Students who aspire to apply can now fill out the application form of JMI.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria to be eligible for MA in Applied Psychology at JMI. The criteria are as follows.
- It is necessary to complete B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology with not less than 50% marks to be eligible at JMI
- B.A. /B.Sc. /B.com. OR B.A. /B.Sc. /B.com. (Hons.) OR B.Sc. (Home Sc.) with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
Exam Pattern of MA in Applied Psychology
The JMI Entrance Exam is done in person, not online. You have to go to the exam center. The exam has multiple-choice questions. Notably, there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark. The MA Applied Psychology entrance is on June 09, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 01:00 PM.
There are 42 intakes available for MA in Applied Psychology program.
Reserved Seats Conditions
Candidates who want to take admission under the reserved category can apply for ONE reservation category only and will need to fulfill the prescribed eligibility conditions of the program.
If someone from a special category passes the Entrance Test for admission under the General category, they will be considered for admission both under the General category and their claimed special category.

Fee Structure (other than Application Fee)
The fee of MA Applied Psychology at JMI is ₹9,700/- per year. Additionally, the fee of fieldwork/training is ₹1,500/-, fee of lab is ₹1,000/-, fee for brochure is ₹500/- for MA in Applied Psychology.

Application Process
To register for MA in Applied Psychology, students have to visit the admission portal of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) by the link mentioned below. The online registration process includes two phases. The registration of candidates and entrance application. While filling out the application form, you have to provide some basic information about yourself. The entrance application includes the name of the program you are applying for, category, submission of entrance application fee, etc.
Those candidates whose result is still awaited can also apply for MA in Applied Psychology. However, the candidates would have to present the required certificate, etc. by 31 October 2024.

You have to visit the official website to register as a new candidate by providing the information as shown on the website.

Once you register, you will receive an email having a UNIQUE CODE with a link in order to verify the email account. After the link verification, candidates can log in to the portal using the credentials they got.
Step 3
After login, you will see the options to select your program. Select the program and proceed further. After selecting the program, you have to proceed further application by providing photo and signature, academic details, document details, etc.
Step 4
After this, you have to make the payment of ₹550/- as an application fee.

General Instructions
- A candidate will be allowed to submit only one application. JMI reserves the right to cancel the application of candidates in case of more applications than one.
- Candidates don’t have to send their application forms in hard copies. However, they need to keep the hard copy of the application after filling out the application.
- In case of submission of Online form through Cyber Cafe/ at any other place, a candidate is also advised to go through the guidelines and get the form filled in his/her presence and provide his/her contact information such as email and mobile number wherever required.
