Graduate Aptitude Exam in Engineering is an National level Aptitude Exam conducted by IITs every year since 1983. The total no. of subjects that it cover 27. It would be conducted in various cities across the country. GATE will be conducted in Computer based Test (CBT) by various IITs every year on behalf of the National Coordination Board GATE Department of Higher Education. the purpose of this exam is to test the candidates subject matter knowledge. The scorecard of GATE EXAM is used by various IITs for the admission of students into Masters’ and doctoral programme offered by IITs.
If you are aspiring to get admission in IITs for Masters programme in Psychology and PhD in Psychology then you can write the gate exam. It is usually conducted in the month of February, the forms are generally released in the month of November.

Psychology Paper will carry a total of 60 marks. There would be 40 questions.
20 Questions with 1 mark each
20 Questions with 2 marks each.
General Aptitude: 15 Marks and
Subject Questions: 85 Marks
