Applications are being invited from eligible candidates for the admission to MPhil Clinical Psychology course at the University of Calcutta. The applications are for the Sessions 2022-23 and 2023-24. Further details about the institutes and application process are as follows.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have completed their Master’s in Psychology /Applied Psychology /Clinical Psychology from a university recognized by UGC with at least 55% marks in aggregate. (For SC /ST /OBC /PwD category candidates, 50% marks in aggregate are necessary)

Exam Pattern
The exam pattern for M.Phil. Clinical Psychology at the University of Calcutta is as follows:
- Total marks: 100
- 20 MCQs carrying 2 marks each (40 Marks)
- 10 short answer types question carrying 3 marks each (30 Marks)
- 1 long question carrying 30 marks
- Negative Marking: ¼ i.e. 0.5 for wrong question each (Only for MCQs)
- Medium: English
- Interview: Yes
The entrance Exam will be held offline (in person) mode in the premises of Calcutta University.
Note: The board of examiners would conduct a viva voce of the candidates who would qualify the written examination.
