The Maharashtra Institute of Mental Health (MIMH), established in 1991, is one of the best state-government mental health institutes in Maharashtra. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India recognized it as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in the field of mental health.
MIMH offers a wide range of mental health services, focusing on treatment, prevention, and promoting positive mental health in communities. They provide advanced care for patients from Maharashtra and nearby states. This includes treating both short-term and long-term mental/behavioral illnesses using a team approach.
MIMH extends its multi-disciplinary services to Sassoon General Hospital in Pune. The institute has a well-equipped mental health complex in Pashan, Pune, where they offer outpatient services and daycare centers.
MIMH Pune M.Phil Clinical Psychology Admission 2024
MIMH Pune is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi for the M.Phil Clinical Psychology course.
Eligibility:
- The candidate shall be a domicile of Maharashtra State.
- MA/MSc in Psychology with 55% marks. Relaxation of 5% of marks will be allowed for those belonging to S.C./S.T./O.B.C. (non-creamy layer) / PWDs.

Candidates need to fill out an online application followed by the application payment. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Entrance Examination Pattern
- The Entrance Examination will held in offline mode only.
- There will be one question paper consisting of 50 MCQs to be answered in 60 minutes.
- All questions will be compulsory and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
- There will be no grace marks for the Entrance examination.
- The medium of instruction will be English.
